ABOUT TEAM SNOW

Team Snow is in honor of three brave incredible men who lost their courageous battles to ALS:

ALS first effected this family in 2003 when David was diagnosed. It sadly took the lives of these three men within two years of their diagnoses. There are two kinds of ALS: 1) Sporadic ALS which is non inheritable and make up 95% of all ALS diagnosis and 2) Familial ALS which is inheritable, and much more rare at 5%. Sadly the Snows have been afflicted with Familial ALS which means that if we do not find a cure another member of this family will receive this atrocious fatal disease. ALS robs you of everything you rely on including your ability to move your limbs, to walk, to talk, and to eat. Until it eventually steals your ability breath.
